Granader, RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher), owner and lead teacher
of Red Lotus Yoga in Rochester Hills, MI and of the Red Lotus
School of Yoga, has put together this sequence of poses to help
you quiet your mind, strengthen your body, increase your flexibility
and find the real you beneath all the layers. Brian comes from
a strong Ashtanga foundation with an in depth study of Tibetan
Buddhism. This allows him to bring to his students a powerful
physical practice, while teaching them the beauty of how and
why yoga works in our lives. He has studied with David Swenson,
Geshe Michael Roach and Kristie McNalley. He is certified to
teach Ashtanga based flow classes of all levels, Tibetan Heart
yoga, meditation and Corporate yoga.
Brian Granaders main message is Whatever we
learn on the mat, we can take off the mat to truly
transform our lives.

covers all aspects, showing easier versions of each asana (pose)
so that people of any fitness level can easily follow along.
The emphasis is on gradually learning and enjoying each asana
instead of hurrying to accomplish each one. Breath and meditation
are an equally important part of yoga and Brian shows how to
incorporate movement, breath and meditation to give you a wonderfully
effective yoga routine. This DVD contains special features that
allow you to practice with or without music. Audio stream one
includes meditative music with Brians gentle instructions.
Audio stream two is just you and the instructor without any music
to interrupt your practice; or play your favorite music in the
background.
Meet Brian and get to know him a little through
the Interview section of the DVD. He explains why he first started
doing yoga and why he feels yoga is perfect for you. Several
common questions are answered in this informative Q&A interview.
