Guided Meditations are the easiest way to learn to meditate. Simply listen to someone guide you through specific scenarios. Guided meditations are very beneficial for everyone -- not just the beginner. It requires only for you to stay in the moment and use creative visualization as you follow along. Visual Meditations are the next in line for simplicity. Either concentrate on a picture or video and stay in the moment. If you feel the urge to close your eyes and go into a deeper state of meditation, follow your feelings. Silent Meditation is exactly that ..... silent. Sit still, quiet your mind and go inward. This type of meditation is what most people view as 'real' meditation. You can focus on any thought or issue that is most important to you at that moment. Moving (Fluid) Meditation is along the lines of Yoga, QiGong, Reiki or any other type of exercise routine you may perform. If you are concentrating on what you are doing in the moment, you are performing a moving meditation. Charles Schultz |
